OKTOBERFEAST 2026 - We Grow for It!

The challenge: our neighbors are hungry.

• 30% of Springs residents are food insecure and demand at Springs Food Pantry is up 20%. With your support, we can grow even more nutrient-dense food to meet that need.

Our solution: we grow for it. We work in collaboration with our six food pantry partners to grow food that is healthy and that is most wanted. We plant, harvest, and donate roughly 15-20% of all crops.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 to fully fund the $150,000 needed for our FARM TO FOOD PANTRY program for another year; and, to help it grow.

Amber Waves’ commitment to food equity is embedded in our operations. In 2025 alone, Amber donated 31,000 pounds of fresh, sustainably grown produce to six local food pantries — a direct response to the reality that even in one of the wealthiest zip codes in America, thousands of families face food insecurity.

As a nonprofit teaching farm, Amber Waves Farm unites food and community to teach the next generation of farmers, educate children about healthy eating and where their food comes from, and feeding our community, especially those most in need.
