Nettles are the multivitamin of the plant world. They are great for allergies and building blood (lots of iron!). They also make great pesto! They must be lightly steamed to disarm their stinging hairs. Eat the Nettles, and drink the water in which they were steamed. Plant prefers moist soil in sun or shade. Sow in fall or very early spring for germ in spring. Wait until the little Nettles are four inches high or so, and snip them off.
